Servicom Holds Productive Meeting with NACA to Enhance Service Delivery

The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) on April 4, 2024, NACA hosted a key meeting with Servicom, a leading Nigerian organization dedicated to promoting service excellence in government institutions.

The meeting brought together top officials from both NACA and Servicom for a productive discussion on strategies to improve service quality and efficiency.

Strengthening Collaboration for Better Service

Following introductions, Dr. Temitope Ilori, NACA’s Director General, welcomed Ms. Nnenna Akajeme

li, Servicom’s Chief Executive Officer, and her team. Dr. Ilori expressed appreciation for Servicom’s collaboration and emphasized the importance of open dialogue in achieving service excellence.

Ms. Akajemeli acknowledged NACA’s commitment to improving service delivery and underscored the importance of strong governance in ensuring citizen satisfaction. She outlined Servicom’s core principles, established in 2004 to champion service excellence, and highlighted the potential for collaboration to elevate NACA’s service standards.

The meeting focused on several key objectives:

  • Commendation and Collaboration: Servicom commended NACA’s leadership for prioritizing service improvement initiatives.
  • Resource Allocation: Discussions addressed the Federal Government’s directive for Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to allocate budget lines specifically for service enhancement programs.
  • Service Charter Review: The importance of regularly reviewing and updating NACA’s service charter was emphasized, with plans for a comprehensive review every two years to ensure alignment with evolving service standards.
  • Knowledge Sharing: An update was provided on the upcoming Servicom conference scheduled for May-June 2024 in Ibadan. This conference aims to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration among stakeholders committed to service excellence.
  • Staff Capacity Building: Recognizing the critical role of staff in delivering exceptional service, discussions centered on implementing capacity-building initiatives to equip NACA employees with the necessary skills and knowledge.
