The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) recently welcomed its new Director General, Dr. Temitope Ilori. To solidify collaboration and support, Dr. Ilori met with key partners from the Global Fund on Friday, March 22nd, 2024.

This introductory meeting brought Dr. Ilori together with Mr. Jean Thomas Nouboussi, the Global Fund Country Team-Lead, and Mr. Ibrahim Tajudeen, the Executive Secretary of the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM).

The focus of the discussion was on strengthening the working relationship between NACA and the Global Fund. Dr. Ilori emphasized her commitment to a collaborative approach, highlighting the importance of open communication and partnership for effective HIV/AIDS control in Nigeria.

Mr. Tajudeen, representing the CCM, offered his full support and the commitment of the Global Fund team to working alongside NACA in achieving its goals.
