Hon. Minister Dr. Alausa Visits NACA, Signaling Strengthened HIV/AIDS Collaboration

The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) welcomed the Honorable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare (FMHSW), Dr. Tunji Alausa, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Dr. Alausa was received by NACA’s newly appointed Director General, Dr. Temitope Ilori, alongside directors and members of the agency.
This visit signifies a critical step towards building a robust and harmonious relationship between NACA and the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (FMHSW). This visit gains particular importance in light of NACA’s recent transition from under the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) to become domiciled within the FMHSW.
The agency remains committed to working hand-in-hand with the Ministry to ensure a more coordinated and impactful national response to HIV/AIDS in Nigeria.
