ENGAGEMENT OF SERVICES PROVIDER FOR THE DEPLOYMENT OF 100MBPS FULL DUPLEX FIBER OPTICS INTERNET ACCESS

1.0      BACKGROUND

The
National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) coordinates the National
HIV/AIDS response, providing guidance to all implementing entities,
coordinating and reporting on the attainment of national objectives of the
response while ensuring that resources are used in the most efficient manner.
NACA’s mandate is to ensure efficient and effective coordination of the
national response leading ultimately to the attainment of universal access to
HIV prevention, treatment, care and support services for all Nigerians. The
Agency as a Principal Recipient requires the services of a competent company
for the Deployment Of 100MBPS Full Duplex Fiber Optics Internet Access.

 

2.0   OBJECTIVES

The
primary objective of this project is to successfully design and deploy a fiber
optics internet access network that provides high-speed, reliable, and secure
internet connectivity to NACA Head Quarters

 

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 

·        
To
deploy fresh 100Mega bits per second fiber optics internet access to the
organization.

·        
Ensure all infrastructure for this scalability are provided.

·        
Train key personnel on how to troubleshoot the equipment
whenever there is down time

DURATION OF THE
ASSIGNMENT

The assignment is expected to take [4weeks] from the date
of contract signing. The company will work closely with our IT team and other
relevant stakeholders throughout the duration of the project.

SCOPE OF WORK

1.        
Project Planning and Assessment:

·        
Conduct
site surveys and feasibility studies

·        
Design
the fiber optics network architecture

·        
Procure
and install fiber optics cables and equipment

·        
Configure
and test the network

·        
Provide
training and support to end-users

 

2.     Technical Implementation:

·        
Lead the implementation and deployment of the 100 Megabit per
second fiber optics internet access

·        
Configure all the necessary infrastructure

·        
Ensure that all fiber optics internet equipment and
compliance features are properly configured according to industry standards and
organizational requirements.

3.   Training and Knowledge Transfer:

·        
Conduct training sessions for IT staff on the features
and functionalities
of
the fiber optics internet router

·        
Develop user guides and other training materials to
support ongoing learning and adaptation to the new system.

 

4.   Post-Implementation Support:

·        
Provide post-deployment support to address any issues that may arise during
the
testing
period.

·        
Monitor the performance of the system and make
necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.

·        
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any
technical issues
related
to any downtime

QUALIFICATIONS AND
EXPERIENCE

The company should possess the following qualifications
and experience:

  • Proven
    experience in managing and implementing Fiber optics deployment
  • Experience
    in project management, with a record of accomplishment of delivering
    projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge
    of security and compliance best practices related to internet standard
  • Excellent
    communication skills and the ability to train and guide users at all
    levels.
  • Relevant
    certifications in internet services

Training Duration should not exceed maximum of one week while pilot
testing the link. This will include how to troubleshoot the step-down
equipment that will be provided by the service provider and this should not
be costed for by the bidders

Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation
issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Form CAC1.1
or CAC2 and CAC7 or its equivalent;
 

b.    
Evidence of Company’s Income
Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years
2022,2023,2024, valid till 31st December, 2025

c.     
Evidence of Pension Clearance Certificate
valid till 31st December, 2025;
 

d.    
Evidence of Industrial Training Fund
(ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2025 or its
equivalent;
 

e.     
Evidence of Nigeria Social Insurance
Trust Fund (NSITF) Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December,
2025 or its equivalent;

Verifiable documentary evidence of at
least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including

or criminal misrepresentation or falsification of facts relating to any matter;
