NACA Director General & Key Stakeholders at the CDC Nigeria 5th Biannual Stakeholder Engagement Meeting

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently hosted its 5th Biannual Stakeholder Engagement Meeting in Abuja, Nigeria. It was an event that gathered key stakeholder’s, including Director General NACA, Dr. Temitope Ilori, Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, Oyo State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi and other representatives from government agencies and healthcare organizations.
This two-day event, themed “Strategic Pivoting Towards Program Simplification and Sustainable Public Health Intervention,” aimed to strengthen collaboration among key stakeholders to improve public health outcomes in Nigeria. The meeting underscores the CDC’s commitment to regularly reviewing and adapting programming to meet the evolving needs of the HIV response and overall public health landscape in Nigeria.
