To effectively prosecute its mandate, NACA has prior to becoming an Agency put in place a multi-layered decentralized structure for coordinating the national response. It has established coordination mechanisms for government and non-government actors within the response cutting across public sector, civil society, and the private sector. These include the Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (NEPWHAN), the Civil Society HIV/AIDS Network (CISHAN), National Faith-based (NFACA), the National Women Coalition on AIDS (NAWOCA), Nigerian Business Coalition against AIDS (NIBUCAA), the National Youth Network on HIV/AIDS (NYNETHA), among others.
