The National Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (NACA) Abuja invites application from qualified Nigerian Drivers.

Title of Post: Motor driver-mechanic / Logistics Assistant IV
Level of Post: CONTISS Level 04
Duty Post: Abuja
Type of Engagement: Permanent and pensionable appointment
Duties and Responsibilities
      •    The Driver provides driving services to the operations of NACA;
      •    Ensures provision of reliable and safe driving services
      •    Driving official  vehicles for the delivery and or collection of mails, documents and any other item as may be directed;
      •    Conveying officers or the organization’s Guest (s) to or from the airport;
      •    Making official Trips outside Abuja;
      •    Ensures cost-savings through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs, provision of inputs to preparation of the vehicle maintenance plans and reports;
      •    Ensures proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely reporting for  minor repairs and major repairs;
      •    Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts;
      •    Ensures that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accidents.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
Secondary Education
Valid Driver’s license.
Trade Tests 1, 2 and 3

Experience:
Not less than 5 years’ work experience as a driver; safe driving record; knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English
